Led by

In 2020 Rob (together with Catherine) was preparing to teach a Soulmaking retreat entitled ‘Between Eden and the Abyss’. In this retreat for practitioners familiar with Soulmaking Dharma, we will carry the endeavour forward, humbly approaching this far-reaching theme together. We will reflect and practice in ways that engender and support our poiesis, our moving freely and sensitively to create and discover – across the span of the ‘great divides’ – soul, sacredness, and beauty. Be it the sacred and the profane; pleasure and pain; exile and return; form and emptiness; order and chaos; suffering and the end of suffering, we will turn our Soulmaking sensitivities towards the terrain that matters to our soul. If you recognise a desire, intuition or calling toward the Soulmaking possibilities between Eden and the Abyss, please join us. This retreat will include sitting, walking and moving meditations, teachings, small groups, individual meetings and some relational and group practices. The retreat will be mostly held in silence, and there will also be optional times for informal non-silent spaces.
